Make Money Online Scams
I get emails all the time from people asking which make money online programs I recommend, and quite honestly, I can’t even count the ones I recommend on one hand.
Obviously I sell my own e-book, so why would I want to promote other peoples’ crap? (That’s the honest part of me talking.) But also… it’s absolutely true that most of the MMO and IM shiz out there leaves you hanging and doesn’t help you in the slightest. Selfishness aside, my conscience won’t allow me to recommend useless money making guide BS to you. There might be affiliate commissions in it for me if I did, but that’s ok.
My advice to you is, if you haven’t heard some of the prominent MMO people talk about an e-book or program, err on the side of caution and don’t buy it. When I say prominent, I am talking about the honest, no nonsense people such as Grizzly, Courtney Tuttle, Allyn Hane, or Lissie Sowerbutts. I’m not referring to the likes of John Chow and others who are pushing new affiliate programs to you more often than they change their underwear. It’s a tough world out there – especially when money is involved.
And it’s a shame, really. Make money online scams make me sad and a bit apprehensive to be associated with the MMO sector. If all people made their money honestly then we wouldn’t have to worry, but I guess honesty is just a naive, idealistic dream floating around in my 25-year old head. All I can say is that I am honest and sincere in everything I do, and I associate only with others who have proven to do so as well (Grizzly, Lissie, Andy from Ronda Today, and a few select others.)
If you buy anything online that claims to help you make money, please please please verify and research it before parting with your hard earned money. Some of the “blogging about blogging” people out there are extremely sneaky and have a way of convincing even the most careful of us.
I’m not even sure how most of them got popular, to be honest. With the exception of John Chow (probably only after he read Grizzly’s blog LOL!!), Shoe Money, and Darren Rowse, most of the them don’t even rank remotely decent for any make money online or internet marketing type of keywords in Google. Real internet marketers rank well for keywords.
I know what you’re thinking now: “OK big mouth, why doesn’t YOUR blog rank on the first page for make money online?” That’s a good question…
This blog is well on its way to ranking better than the fifth page for “make money online.” Just a few more backlinks and content… and I’ll be there. I would’ve been on the first page sooner, but I refuse to get crap backlinks that will shoot me in the foot on the next Google update. All the folks who would’ve sent me a quality backlink (Grizzly, etc) are instead selling my e-book using their affiliate link (because my e-book is legit and it makes money for both them AND the people who buy it and follow the steps) so that serves as a bit of a challenge for me. I don’t mind, though. More power to them if they can sell my book. You can sell it too if you join the affiliate program.
Until next time,
Janet Smith
